como vivem os meninos de ruas,estou disponibizando esse texto em
inglês para o mundo inteiro ler.``E não conformeis com
este mundo, mas transformai-vos pela renovação do
vosso entendimento, para que experimenteis qual seja a boa,
agradável e perfeita vontade de Deus``. Rm 12:2 O Estatuto
da Criança e do Adolescente diz: `` Toda criança tem
direito a vida, saúde, liberdade, educação,
cultura, e dignidade; Entretanto a teoria nem sempre é
seguida e muitas vezes se distancia da pratica.
Visivelmente há muitas crianças vivendo
permanentemente nas ruas, envolvidas com drogas,
prostituição e furtos. Outras andam perambulando
pelas ruas, na criminalidade e pedindo dinheiro nos sinais de
transito; entregues a própria sorte e sofrendo todo o tipo
de violência. Viciam-se e são usadas por maiores,
tornando-se muitas vezes infratoras, sem quaisquer perspectivas
futuras. Isso revela a imensa gravidade do problema alem do descaso
social e das autoridades. O mais preocupante disso tudo é
que as pessoas estão perdendo a sensibilidade para essa
triste realidade. Deparamos constantemente com meninos de rua e
nosso sentimento de indignação está se
transformando em indiferença, afinal é uma
situação rotineira nos grandes centros urbanos. Em
Seus ensinamentos Jesus Cristo também enfatizou as
crianças, porem hoje muitos fazem acepções
entre elas: Meninos de rua também são crianças
e merecem o mesmo respeito, carinho e dedicação que
aquelas que se encontram em nossas igrejas, família, escolas
seculares ou bíblicas. A situação
geográfica, estilo de vida, realidade social ou
aparência física não as fazem deixar de serem
crianças, portanto não devemos impedi-las de
aproximar de Cristo, pelo contrario, devemos apontá-las o
caminho que leva a Ele. Se lutarmos contra a indiferença, o
conformismo e a insensibilidade, e deixarmos que Deus renove o
nosso entendimento iremos olhar para os meninos de rua com o mesmo
olhar misericordioso de Jesus Cristo, e tomaremos atitudes
impulsionadas pelo próprio Deus a fim de mudar a realidade
desses pequeninos; Mas se permanecermos na indiferença e
conformismo estaremos sendo participantes de uma sociedade injusta
e sem amor ao próximo. Aquele, pois que sabe fazer o bem e o
não faz, comete pecado. Tg 4:17.
